The Ambassador of the Order of Malta to the Republic of Malta, H.E. Prince Augusto Ruffo di Calabria and his spouse H.S.H. Princess Tana Ruffo di Calabria shall be hosting an exceptional concert to celebrate the Feast of St John the Baptist, the Patron Saint of the Order of Malta.

The concert will be held on Sunday 9 June at 18:30 in the Republic Hall of the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta. A String Quartet together with a pianist of the Orchestra of Teatro Alla Scala di Milano will be performing in a concert which will also be open to the public.

The performers will be:

First Violin - Francesco Manara                                                    Cello - Massimo Polidori

Second Violin - Daniele Pascoletti                                               Viola - Simonide Braconi

                                                                   Piano - Gile Bae 

Tickets are being sold for €20, €30 and €40.

The 1 hour programme will include Chopin concerto n. 1 per pianoforte e quartetto d'archi and the Antonio Melchiori fantasia su Rigoletto di Giuseppe Verdi per quartetto d'archi.
